NOTICE TO RESIDENTS AND PROPERTY OWNERS OF THE TOWN OF LAKEWOOD

Notice of Accepting Snow Removal Bids

The Town of Lakewood is accepting sealed snow removal bids to be opened at the Regular Meeting scheduled for October 14, 2026 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the Lakewood Town Hall, 3110 Strand Road, Duluth, MN 55803.

Bids will be accepted for the coverage of: Fire Hall 1, 5195 N. Tischer Rd; Fire Hall 2, 5772 Lakewood Rd,; Maintenance Building, 3135 Strand Rd; Town Hall, 3110 Strand Rd, parking lot & entrance to building; Recycling area & parking space adjacent to Recreation area, 3110 Strand Rd; Dry Hydrant 1, 3359 Zimmerman Rd; Dry Hydrant 2, 2642 Lismore Rd, Dry Hydrant 3, 2973 Strand Rd; Dry Hydrant 4, 5634 Lakewood Rd, Town dump road, North Tischer Rd and other duties as assigned by the Board of Supervisors.  

Interested applicants must have own equipment and must provide a Certificate of Liability with quote. All quotes will be accepted through 5:00 p.m., October 12, 2026. Snow Removal Bid Forms can be found on the town website: www.lakewoodtownshipmn.gov  - Departments - Roads & Bridges or at the Town Hall. The Town of Lakewood reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
